We enjoyed staying here
Suzanne K  (United States)  - December 19, 2019

We enjoyed staying here. The location was perfect for exploring some of Paris's best sites on foot with our son. Lots of great places to eat and shop nearby, too. Our hosts were helpful as well. Merci beaucoup : )

Alison K  (United States)  - November 25, 2019

This well-managed, comfortable, and convenient apartment is perfectly located for both frequent visitors to Paris and first-time tourists. Art lovers will find themselves practically on the doorstep of the Louvre, a short walk from the Beaubourg, and a lovely walk along the Seine from the Musee D'Orsay. Food lovers have a choice of multiple cafes and restaurants (and a grocery store) nearby. Anyone who enjoys exploring on foot can easily fill a week of sightseeing--as we did--without ever taking the metro. Eunice and her team went out of their way to make our stay a pleasure, from booking to departure.

« Super emplacement *****, grand appartement avec toutes les commodités. Mauvaise insonorisation, venant des voisins du haut et des escaliers (pas de l’extérieure). »

A great month--Did not want to leave
Harmony T  (United States)  - July 1, 2017

My daughter and I shared this flat, and it was absolutely perfect for the two of us. The location could not be beat, one block from the Louvre, one block from the Louvre/Rivoli metro station, one block from Rue St. Honorie, around the corner from a great butcher and two amazing bakeries. I was quite sad to leave at the end of the month. The kitchen is really functional, which I was worried about, the bedroom was huge, as was the bathroom and the living room. The split bathroom ended up being great, and while the washer/dryer was not the most efficient machine, it was great to be in the bathroom. If you like a ton of water pressure, you may be disappointed, but my daughter and I thought the shower and the soaking tub were awesome and we had lots of hot water. The use of space is great, the pull out bed was comfortable, and the wall of windows in the living room make sure the entire place feels bright and spacious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We could have stayed forever.

One really important thing... there is an elevator, BUT it did not always work... if you are at all mobility-limited it's on the third floor, and it was a good deal of steps.

Neat, clean apartment, great location.

Very quiet unit with courtyard windows. Great location, near Les Halles, Louvre, and good Metro lines. Large spaces, cute kitchen and separate water closet. All good!

Great location!!

We had a great time in Paris and enjoyed staying at the apartment. We love the location and we find the apartment very cute and well kept. In addition, the Glamaparis team was very helpful and easy to deal with. I would probably use this company again next time we come to Paris!!

Very nice apartment, decent size, well equipped, clean, and charming. Best location for a reasonable price. Minutes to most Paris attractions, steps to metro, restaurants, and Louvre. The agent, Samia, was very helpful and accommodating. The only issue with this place was a lift, during our stay it was broken most of the time. Very hard for aged people or with heavy luggage to climb to the third floor by stairs. Otherwise would have given it a five-star rating. Will recommend this place for a young couple!

Paris Charm and Convenience
Tina G  (Canada)  - August 3, 2015

My husband and I couldn't have been more thrilled with our accommodations during our recent trip to Paris. The apartment is in a wonderful location, close to many Paris attractions as well as busses (right outside the door) and the métro (half a block down the street). There were many restaurants, cafés, and grocery stores nearby. The Louvre was practically outside our door and we could walk to the Seine and Notre Dame in less than 20 minutes. We were greeted promptly on arrival, given a tour of the apartment, and shown how the appliances and electronics worked. Internet access was included as well as local and some international phone calls - what a bonus! The apartment is in a very secure building and although there is an elevator using the stairs was just as easy. We had absolutely no problems during our 10 day stay. Although small, we had everything we needed and the apartment was clean, well-organized, and well-maintained. Thank you Tanguy and Samia for your help in co-ordinating our stay. We absolutely adored Paris and having such a wonderful place to stay was a large part of this experience.

Wonderful spacious apartment in great location
Corinne M.  (United States)  - June 9, 2015

My husband and I recently spent 10 days at this centrally located apartment. It was definitely spacious enough for 2 people, and there was plenty of storage in the bedroom and bathroom for clothes and toiletries, etc. The kitchen was definitely adequate for our needs. We really didn't do any major cooking there, but did have breakfast, snacks, etc. If you to plan to cook, be advised that the oven is a combination microwave/oven. The property was clean and the layout was fine - we actually enjoyed having the toilet separate from the bathroom. Plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower too. All of our dealings with the management company went very smoothly from reservation to check-in and throughout our stay. Any issues, which were all minor, such as light bulbs that needed replacing, were dealt with promptly. It was convenient to have an elevator, and, although it stopped working one evening, it was fixed by the next morning. We were also concerned about possible hot weather in late June, since there is no a/c. The management company provided us with a fan, which was sufficient to get us through the one 90 degree day. We especially enjoyed the central location. The Louvre-Rivoli metro station is about a block away and it's easy to get anywhere from there. A grocery store and boulangerie are both in close proximity. There are many very good restaurants, bistros, etc. within a short walk, and it's lovely to walk along the Seine in the evening. It's about a 20 minute walk across the river to the Saint-Germain area. We would definitely recommend this property with one caveat: the apartment faces the courtyard, which in general is very quiet - no street noise at all. However, the building's trash and recyclables are emptied in one corner of the courtyard, which can be loud, especially recyclables being emptied early in the morning. We found that this was a small annoyance, but something to be aware of. All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay here.

Great location very comfortable
Paula&Don R.  (United States)  - May 26, 2015

The apartment is very clean and very comfortable. Everything is there that you would need. We spent 2 weeks here and had a wonderful time. The location is excellent and the tourist office is just a block away to help you with anything you would need. Plenty of hot water and linens for all of your needs. The only problem we had was the lift was down for the second week we were there and we have a great deal of difficulty with the stairs and these stairs are narrow and winding with very loose handrails, was frightening at times and at check out it was a lot of luggage to bring downstairs as we had been in Europe for an extensive time. Samia was excellent as we walked over to her office and told her about the elevator and before we got back to the apartment a serviceman was there but was unable to fix the elevator. The apartment was very noisy at times especially when the restaurant was emptying all of their bottles. The apartment over us was a little noisy at times as they stomped around also but no worse than any other place. I would stay here again and just pray that the elevator would be fixed.

Super Price, Great Location, Noisy Courtyard
John Adrian  (United States)  - March 1, 2015

For the location the price is great. Its close to: the Seine; the Louvre; coffee places i.e.: illys’; starbucks; grocery stores; butcher shop; The Metro; Restaurants, etc . . . Would we stay here again and/or recommend it? If, we wanted to stay in the City. Yes. Yes to recommending it. Felt very safe here.

The apartment was very clean. Not even dust. Although could use some new/repair plastering & painting in the kitchen area. The leather couch does need to be replaced. The bed is very comfortable. Linen and towels were good.

All utilities worked very well. The cable was not working on the TV, not a big deal since we weren’t there to watch TV, But Samia had it fixed very promptly. Washer / Dryer, Dishwasher & REFR worked well. Lighting worked too.

Plenty of hot water for showers & dishes. Interesting that the toilet is separate from the bathroom, not a big deal

The lift, while great to have is on the smaller side 2 maybe 3 people.

Our electricity went out once, took a while to figure it out, but with a neighbor’s help we got it working again. So don’t run W/D and dishwasher and blowdryer. I believe that is the combination that put the lights out. ;)

GLAM is very helpful. Samia is the best. If they could do one more thing. That would be to put in writing how to operate W/D, Dishwasher, and Electrical panel. Not that we didn’t know how to but good for reference. Oh ask her about the keys to the front door. Don't leave a key in the door when leaving.

Word of caution: The upstairs neighbors you can easily hear . . . walking around in heels, moving things around, in the late evening past midnight. The courtyard is where the garbage cans are, and starting at 5/6am there is plenty of noise!!! I believe it comes from the restaurant next door. If a light sleeper I would not recommend staying here. Did not hear any other neighbors or street noise.

Great hosts; great apartment
C.D.  (United States)  - February 17, 2015

The apartment has a splendid layout with lots of room -- perfect for my needs, and ideal for a couple. All the appliances work great, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Alexis and Samia were superb hosts. They were super punctual for the check in and the check out, which I appreciated. During my stay, the sink developed a leak, and they had it fixed by the end of the day. I would definitely rent from them again. Of course, the location was ideal.

Good value for money
Ekaterina r  (United States)  - February 3, 2015

The apartment is less expensive than a hotel, nice, clean, spacious and well equipped. It has great location close to main tourist attractions in Paris. The apartment faces the interior narrow courtyard of the building so it is supposed to be quiet. However, the apartment below is under renovation and sometimes we were awoken early morning. Beside this inconvenient construction noise we have only positive appreciations and would recommend this place without hesitation. The agency staff is very friendly and helpful.

El apartamento es como aparece en el anuncio
Jose Mari  (Spain)  - August 16, 2013

Great location but one concern
Audrey C  (United States)  - December 3, 2012

The apartment was in an unbeatable location, clean and had ABSOLUTELY everything we needed. With the exception of a small issue, they were great at check - in...The issue was that they were not there when we checked in. We had two tired children from the transatlantic flight. However, in fairness, we checked in before the allowed time and they were very accomodating with that request.

We would not hesitate to rent again except that the apartment was very noisy. There was noise at all hours of the night from the upstairs neighbor and lots of noise from the courtyard from someone moving gargage and boxes from what we can only assume was one of the businesses. We did advise them of this during our last days of our stay so I am hoping it can be addressed for others who will be staying there. Outside of that, the place was nothing short of great and, as long as the address the noise issue, I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfectly located apartment near Louvre
Miki C  (Switzerland)  - November 22, 2010

My family of 4 including 2 children had a wonderful stay at this lovely and comfortable apartment in April. We walked everywhere, though if you wanted to, the nearest metro station is only a few yards away. Despite its central location, the apartment was very quiet. Close to numerous fantastic restaurants. We walked to the Louvre at night after dinner to enjoy the view while it was all lit up, and my children loved watching the lights on Eiffel tower as it lit up like Christmas tree every few minutes. We plan to go back to Paris, and we would definitely stay at the same apartment again

Delightful Paris Experience Sept. 2010
Jaycee  (United States)  - October 19, 2010

This clean, cozy and spacious apartment was an excellent value for our stay in Paris. We are a 55-plus couple and although still pretty fit, we appreciated the elevator and the convenient location to walking in Paris, close to the Louvre, the Seine and many little cafes, bakeries, markets, and also the Metro. The apartment was tastefully decorated, comfortable queen bed, and colourful modern furniture which somehow didnt detract from the heritage building. Kitchen was well equipped and having automatic dish, and clothes washer available was handy when we were on the go most of the time. Although our view was on a small courtyard, it was worth not being on the front street as it was very quiet. The service from Glam@Paris was responsive, helpful and cooperative. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for good value, comfort, and convenience.

From the minute we booked the apartment we were put at ease and the booking process went very smoothly. Upon arrival we were delighted with the apartment which looked even nicer then on the photos! it was very big for a Paris apartment and greatly equipped with everything you need for a great stay. The Bedroom was lovely and felt at home straight away. We stayed in and cooked a few times and all the utensils/ equipment was more then adaquate. Although as soon as you step outside you have loads of eateries on your door step.

As for the location itself - fantasitc. I have visited Paris many a time and this was the best location we have ever stayed at. The Louvre was practically across the road! direct links, buses etc outside your door and in minutes you are by the Seine!

A true gem of an aparment and would recommend a stay here if you want to experience the a memorable stay, I will definatley book again, especially through Glam Paris. Magnifique!

Very good location
Ionut M  (Romania)  - February 2, 2010

We stayed in this apartament (me and my girlfriend) for a week in January 2010. The apartament is quite big for Paris, we have parisian friends who came over and they were pleasently surprised. The main reason for renting it is its location, is close to everything you want to do in Paris - sights, museums, hip restaurants & bars and shopping.

Altough the apartament has a well equipped kitchen, I recomend you to serve the breakfast in the cafe across the street, and for evening dinners there are planty of good restaurants that can be reached in 1-5 min walking.
