This 2 bedroom apartment is located in the 1st district of Paris, in the famous rue du Louvre. This property is on the third floor of a building with elevator, and has a full disabled access. You can find it at the end of a big courtyard, which makes the building area really quiet. The building is protected by two doors that can be opened with a fob; the area is moreover really safe with the police station 100 meters away from the building.

The apartment is 58 square meters, and has been fully refurbished in 2014. The entire apartment has original Parisian parquet floor and moldings.

When you enter, you get directly in the living room (equipped with a TV including more than 100 channels) and the open kitchen, fully equipped with cooktops, a dishwasher, microwave, oven and a washing machine.

Just next to the living room, the full bathroom has a disabled access and is equipped with an Italian shower and a toilet.

The first bedroom is facing the bathroom, at the beginning of the hallway leading to the Master bedroom. You can find here a king size bed (convertible in two single beds), a closet and two bedside tables; the windows are giving onto the courtyard.

The Master bedroom has a king size bed, a big closet, two bedside tables and a telephone with international calls for US/Canada landlines and cellphones. The windows are also giving onto the courtyard.

2 guides are provided within the apartment:
- An apartment manual with English instructions to help you understand the functioning of the available appliances;
- A neighborhood guide to help you figure out the closest supermarkets, bakeries, restaurant recommendations in the area.

This apartment is located 3 minutes away from the metro station Louvre Rivoli (line 1) and Les Halles (lines 1, 4, 7, 14; RER A, B, D).

It is a non-smoker apartment and pets are not allowed.

Loved every minute of our two weeks in Paris
Danea F  (United States)  - February 6, 2020

This apartment is so close to the Louvre! And you can walk or take metro anywhere from Les Halles. We will be back!

we hope to be back!
Janet G  (United States)  - October 30, 2019

We enjoyed a very nice stay in Paris for two weeks in October. The apartment is in a great location, very close to restaurants, grocery stores, cafes, Museums, and walkable to many central areas of a Paris. It was clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable with nice linens. The check in process was very easy and Eunice and Robin with GLAMAPARIS were always available and very responsive to any questions or issues. Thank you and we hope to be back!

Perfect spot for up to 4 people. Highly recommend it.

Property was in a great location
Grace M  (United States)  - September 10, 2019

Property was in a great location, within easy walking distance to the Seine and the Ile de la Cité. It was exactly as presented and the GLAMAPARIS representative was extremely helpful (Damien I believe).

Near lots of great sights. Lovely apartment.

Property is in a safe and convenient location
Michelle B  (United States)  - July 22, 2019

Easy access to restaurants, retail, grocery stores, transportation, and the Louvre. Excellent communication and information from Glamaparis. Beds are exceptionally comfortable. Fans are helpful but air-conditioning would have been nice to have during the heat wave.

Would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great spacious apt in a fantastic Paris location.
Dennis C  (United States)  - December 1, 2017

This beautiful spacious apartment has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It can easily accommodate six people and was very clean and well equipped. Our two adult sons and one daughter in law accompanied us while we celebrated our 40th anniversary. The towels and linens were very good quality and the beds were comfortable. The common area was comfortable with lots of natural light. We used the fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher) for some light cooking, but there are many wonderful cafes & bakeries very close by. There are many shopping opportunities in every direction and a very large metro stop is next door. The location is superb, we walked to every major attraction in the center of Paris or used the Metro for farther attractions. We stayed in a different Paris apt in a less convenient location last June and this location made a difference for us. The construction noise is over but I can understand the comments about some summer evening noise from some nearby cafes. We were there over the Christmas holiday so our windows were closed but there were several evenings that were warm enough that the outside cafes were busy. I could see that the noise might cause some concern if you needed to keep the windows open during the summer. Samia was excellent to deal with and the instructions in the apartment were helpful. We used the in-unit washer and dryer. While the apt is only one flight up we used the small elevator for our luggage. Considering the excellent location, large unit size and many amenities this apt worked very well for us. The apt does look like the photos and we had no concerns. We would absolutely recommend this Les Halles apt for any family needing three bedrooms.

Pretty decent indeed!
Amy H  (United States)  - October 1, 2017

Fantastic location and pretty decently equipped, clean. This property is managed by a professional company. Metro access right outside, grocery and bakery within 2 min walk. Walkable to the Louvre, Notre Dame, shopping. Only downside is that there are two resto/bars across the street which play loud live music through midnight. We stayed on a weekend Friday through Tuesday, the music was loud Friday and Saturday but thankfully the bars were closed Sunday and Monday. May just be a weekend problem, or not a problem at all if you’re a heavy sleeper. Fans in all the rooms helped muffle the noise. Would definitely stay here again, but maybe not on a weekend unless I was in a partying mood myself!

Large, comfortable, secure apartment in the center of it all.
Kenneth K  (United States)  - August 1, 2017

This apartment was perfect for our family of 5. Lots of room in the common areas. Nice bedrooms. Lots of windows. We would open up the windows in the evening after a day of touring museums and enjoy the cool breezes and do some people watching.

There is a fresh bakery half a block away. There are plenty of restaurants in the area.

It is located near a metro stop and within walking distance of many museums and sights.

Excellent central location
Harriet H  (United States)  - June 1, 2017

We were really close to everything, which was excellent.
Glam@Paris was easy to work with, friendly and flexible.
The layout was just great for our family of five.
There is construction outside the house, but there was only one night that the noise was bothersome. (I sleep with windows open. If you sleep with windows closed, it wouldn't be an issue for you.) Also, I think the construction is mostly done, so I doubt that will be a problem in the future.
We would be happy to stay in this flat again.

Perfect location to all the top sites in Paris
Sandy S  (United States)  - May 1, 2017

When looking on a map it is hard to determine the best place to stay. We couldn't have been happier with the location of this condo. It is close to everything. We walked everywhere the entire week. The only time we didn't walk is when we bought a 2 day ticket to the Batobus that drops you off in front of all the major sites. Unit is very roomy with an elevator if you need one. There were so many incredible places to eat we never did cook, but if you wanted to a full kitchen with everything needed to make a meal was provided.

Working with Glam Paris was a fantastic experience. Samia answered every email with questions I had. She met us at the unit and gave us a tour.

I only gave this unit a 4 instead of 5 because it didn't have air conditioning. That is common in Paris, but we are used sleeping with air-conditioning and it was somewhat difficult to get used to this. We didn't leave the windows open at night because of the noise of the city an some construction (that we were told about in advance) being done on the street below. The unit does have fans for each of the room.

A brand new metro station is right outside the building. One tip I would give is to book a car with Easy go Shuttle back to the airport. For 4 people it was 65 Euros. They met us in a nice clean van and were 10 minutes early for the drive to the airport.

Our recent stay here was like home sweet home!
Carol S  (United States)  - April 1, 2017

A group of four women celebrated turning 70 in Paris! We had a self made itinerary for each day starting out @Chatelet Metro station and returning by cab in the late afternoon or evening. We were happy to be back to our Paris home...

One of us bought warm pastries across the street a few doors down on our block and made breakfast every day in our well appointed kitchen.

The beds were very comfortable and the king bed was set up as two twins for us. Everything was as described in the VRBO description. There is still on going construction near this apt but it did not have any impact on our stay. Make sure you ask during check in how to regulate the shower water temps and turn on/off mechanism. All in all I'd definitely stay here again.

Incredible
Darrell  (United States)  - March 1, 2017

We've stayed in several places in Paris and this place was fantastic. Location was incredible for everything. The apartment was very spacious and clean and well equipped. We had 6 people, 2 couples who also brought 16 year old boys. The staff met us at the apartment on Sunday night and helped us with our bags. Can't wait to return.

It worked but could be improved.
Amy S  (United States)  - March 1, 2017

The apartment was as advertised and clean. It was great having three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The French doors opening over the street were great! The kitchen was well equipped even though we did not end up using it much.

The Chatelet metro was close and the neighbor hood had lots of cafes and shopping. Unfortunately, the Halles mall was a little sketchy. We were told to stay away from that area after dark.

Two of three beds were uncomfortable. We were only left with one set of towels but the management company brought over another set immediately.

Our biggest complaint of the week is something that can be fixed easily. The beautiful French doors had dead flowers in the planters. We almost went out and bought plants to replace them ourselves. We also noticed graffiti between three of the windows. Again, this was concerning but the management company said they were aware and trying to take care of it. It was disappointing because we couldn't even take a picture of our apartment from the outside.

Lastly, there is major construction. We had someone jack hammering at 7am our first morning. I think it should be disclosed that there is construction happening right outside your window. With that said, it will look great once it's done. (2018)

Overall, we enjoyed our stay but would not book the same apartment. The management company was great and we would defiantly recommend them for future visits.

Great Property!
Laura O  (United States)  - February 1, 2017

This apartment was a wonderful rental. The other reviews are accurate. The location was amazing, walking distance to almost everything and the Metro was right outside the door. The place was large and worked out really well for our party of four (two teenagers, two adults). We had plenty of space. The apartment was quiet at night and we all commented on how comfortable the beds are! We took advantage of the free landline calls to the US and the wifi worked great. Having a washer and dryer came in handy, as did the kitchen. We shopped at the grocery store around the corner and the Boulangerie across the street. It was all so convenient. Glamaparis was a really easy and accommodating rental company to work with. I would book with them again.

Great location! Clean and well managed!
Susan S  (United States)  - January 12, 2017

We were 3 girlfriends from college who met in Paris. It was the perfect location- close to metro, great restaurants and Rue de Rivoli!

In Town but Quiet
Patrick C  (United States)  - January 11, 2017

A little noisy outside but inside quiet. Nice apartment and really well located.

Wonderful Paris vacation
Lynne L  (United States)  - January 10, 2017

This was the most perfect apartment for myself and my two daughters for our first trip to Paris. The location was so close to everything, we easily walked to the Louvre, to the Seine, to the cafes and shops and the grocery store which were a block away. The apartment was comfortable, everything worked well, loved the Nespresso machine! Beds were very comfy, especially after walking 14,000 plus steps a day! I recommend the Batobus which traveled the Seine like a water taxi stopping at 9 major tourist stops. We got the 2 day pass and used it several times to travel. Nice way to see the city. The management team at Glamaparis were easy to work with, very responsive and helpful. Andre was a great host! I would happily book through Glamaparis again.

Agency Helped Us Change Apartments When the Lift Broke
Larry F  (Australia)  - January 8, 2017

The agency Glam a Paris met us at the apartment we had rented in the 1st only to find the lift broken. We're in our 70's; the apartment was on the 4th level, and we had a ton of luggage. A broken lift was a no-go. The good news is that the agent placed us in a very nice, large (120 sq metres), doorman/elevator building instead. While the place was not furnished to our taste, it was very nice and scrupulously clean. We ended up in the 8th - The Champs Elysee - which is very far from our ideal but consider our alternatives! The agency has many apartments 70-80 of them in Paris. As a self-catering apartment, I feel the one we ended up in could have been better equipped (no food storage or wrapping, no can opener, no pens or paper, no guidebooks and an inconsequential map, one set of towels and linens, tiny little sample soaps). While we would never choose the 8th for a whole variety of reasons, we are very grateful that the agent and agency really came through for us. We've rented overseas apartments at least three months a year for over 25 years, and finding this broken lift was a first for us. I would definitely use this agency again based on this experience even though the apartment itself was less than ideal for us.

Great Location and Excellent Unit
Perseus M  (United States)  - January 7, 2017

We loved the peace and quiet of the courtyard building, which in itself was very stately. The view is not into the courtyard with the fountain; instead the windows look out into much smaller courtyards but the view is pleasant and provides lots of natural light. The apartment was well equipped and very clean. The bathroom and master bedroom were especially nice sized. The beds were very comfortable. The location is absolutely amazing, in walking distance to the Louvre, the convenient store Monoprix, amidst a nice shopping area. There is a nice park across the street. We would definitely recommend this apartment to friend and would be happy to stay here again in the future. Andre was very welcoming and office assistance was friendly. Thank you!

Charming French apartment in the heart of Paris
Michelle et Geoff  (United States)  - January 6, 2017

Apartment was small but in a great location close to both the Louvre and Les Halle's metro stops. Easy walk to Louvre, etc. Grocery store, bakery and cafes near by. Apartment was clean and very quiet. Only negative was the overall building was a little run down, but very safe. I think it is in transition as stores on ground floor looked like they were going to open soon which would bring more life to the building.

Modernes Appartement zentral gelegen
S.G.  (Germany)  - January 4, 2017

Location, location, location! Lovely 2 bedroom with all the essentials
Jackie T  (United States)  - January 4, 2017

We absolutely loved this apartment and will likely book for future trips to Paris. It is ideal for 2-4 people, 2 couples, or a family of up to 4. Perfectly meets the needs of anyone interested in exploring Paris - Le Louvre is just a 5 min walk, les Halles- Beaubourg and the Marais just a few mins walk as well. The metro is at the end of the street. Nearby cafes & shopping just outside your door.

The apartment itself is well lit, beds are very comfortable and it has an ample/supplied kitchenette. Washer in kitchen-noisy but works great! Loved having the nesspresso machine & electric kettle. Bathroom is stand alone shower with a fixed and handheld shower nozzles.

The living area of the apartment is small - love seat & 2 armchairs, but honestly we did not spend much time in the apartment except to sleep and have breakfast - and occasional evening glass of wine & snack.

Beautiful flat!
Elizabeth C  (Australia)  - January 4, 2017

Everything was easy about this flat. From check-in to a functional layout, this flat had it all. We are a family of 4 and we were very comfortable here. You are close to major sights, and easy access to the metro. The space is well equipped, in a quiet building, with key fob access. The management company took care of everything seamlessly. We were extremely happy with our stay.

Perfect central location, perfect tranquility
Lisa W  (United States)  - January 3, 2017

We fell in love with this lovely apartment near the Louvre. Our stay was perfect in every way; the apartment location is top notch, the security and ambiance of the building was exactly as shown (even better); it was incredibly quiet which was great for a good nights rest after active days exploring the city by foot, bike and metro. Note this is not a property for loud visitors or heavy footed guests as the tenant demand quiet which we appreciated as well. The other reviews were very helpful to us and we researched many places and are grateful we chose to work with Glamaparis. Samia was exceptionally attentive and delivered perfect service all the way through. We hope to return for a future stay, this was perfect for our family of four and provided everyone with a comfortable bed to sleep in as opposed to a pull out couch which is common in this price point. The neighborhood restaurants were excellent (our favorite was Casa Festa), we enjoyed walking around the Louvre courtyards at night and seeing the river bridges at night also. Very safe area, super convenient with G20 grocery 2 minute walk away; we explored with our kids and never felt anything but perfectly safe. We loved Le Palais Royale on our way home most afternoons as the kids had a blast playing with other kids. Velib bike service is excellent (we biked from the Eiffel Tower all the way back to the apartment and it was not very far really), but be sure to pay attention to how the costs really work as they can add up quickly given the usage fees beyond the subscription costs. Enjoy....you will not regret.

Excellent location and stay for family of four
Marloes V  (United States)  - January 2, 2017

The apartment's location is second to none. It is walking distance to the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Seine, Pont Neuf (and tour boat), Notre Dame, Centre Pompidou, Forum des Halles, and the Opéra. ATM is literally next door, and subway station a 5 minute walk away. There is a secured gate which leads to a small court yard and another keyed entrance from here to the apartment building. We felt very safe and the apartment is quiet despite being in the middle of the city. It is very clean and comfortable. Bathroom is brand new, bedrooms are spacious, though living room is a bit small. This did not bother us, as we were gone most of the time anyway. There is a washing machine and a drying rack, which is great for families with children who want to travel light. Bakeries and grocery store are close by so we had fresh bread and croissants for breakfast every morning before heading out. There are several good restaurants close by (Try, for example, Le Louis or Au Vieux Comptoir). We loved our stay in Paris, and renting an apartment is definitely the way to go with children!
On a side note, at Glamaparis' recommendation we booked transport from and to the airport through ParisChauffeurs.com which was super convenient. The driver was on time, courteous, and very pleasant.

Great location in Paris
Sandy W  (United States)  - January 2, 2017

This condo is exactly as described. We were met at the gate by Samia (Account Manager-Glamaparis) and we were shown around the condo. It is in excellent shape and is in a great location! We felt very safe throughout our stay. Restaurants, shopping, Louvre, grocery store, drug store, all within walking distance. We were able to walk everywhere even to the Eiffel tower. I would definitely recommend having dinner at the Eiffel tower. It was a great experience. We also did several free walking tours that were amazing. Google-ParisDiscoverwalks.com. We did the Montmartre and Hidden Gems tour. They do require a tip; however it is well worth it. Paris was a wonderful trip and I highly recommend. I would recommend a guided tour through the Louvre; you will appreciate it so much more hearing from a local. We were there for 4 nights and ready to go back. Take an umbrella in case it rains.

Would definitely stay here again!
Roopkiran S  (United States)  - January 2, 2017

The apartment was wonderful. Just as advertised! It was great location, quiet, we could walk almost everywhere of interest to us. Lots of places to eat nearby.

The management was very responsive to any questions or needs that we had. We definitely recommend it. In fact we cannot wait to visit Paris again and would definitely stay here again

Perfect apartment - Perfect location
Sally J  (United States)  - December 1, 2016

This fabulous apartment more than met our high expectations for our 14 night stay. We have travelled to Paris four times over that past 5 years and this is undoubtedly the best apartment accommodation we have found. The apartment is spacious, beautifully appointed with everything we needed. There is a MAC computer available which ensures any online booking or research we needed to do was extremely easy. We had free and very fast WIFI and free landline calls back to Australia. The bathrooms included small toiletries and fabulous fluffy towels. The only shopping you need for the kitchen is food, everything else you need to keep the kitchen in order is included. There was even washing powder for the clothes washer (in a separate laundry). As a family of four adults, the three bedrooms and two bathrooms suited us perfectly. The location is excellent, making our days easy to plan and get around on either the trains or by foot. We were very close to Chatelet metro station for when we needed to catch public transport however many tourist favourites are within walking distance including the Louvre, Notre Dame, Saint Chappelle and more. Paul from Glamparis was wonderful to deal with and was very welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed. Paul also ensured we had his contact details so we could contact either the office or him at any time if we needed to. Glamparis is a very professional and amazing agency to deal with, nothing is too much trouble. I can't recommend Glamparis or this apartment highly enough. We will definitely return to using Glamparis on our next trip to Paris. Thank you Paul and Glamparis, we had an amazing family holiday.

Wonderful Experience!!

When booking an apartment in Paris, I did my research and landed in this exceptional apartment. I strongly recommend this property by a variety of reasons. The staff was helpful from end to end of the process, the apartment was clean, the beds and linens were impeccable, spacious, fully equipped kitchen and great location. We stayed 5 nights. I recommend 5 stars this property.

Quiet and Convenient
Birdrock Fan  (United States)  - May 14, 2016

This clean and well maintained apartment and building was a great landing pad for our family of four, vacationing in Paris. The location was great for walking to many attractions, although we typically travelled to other neighborhoods to find restaurants. The bedrooms were a nice size, the newly renovated bathroom was wonderful and the open living was attractive, if a bit too small. The property was very quiet and a wonderful reprieve from the bustling city and crowded tourist attractions. We enjoyed our stay!

My family and I stayed here for a week in February and it was just the best. It is in the perfect location and is a very comfortable and quiet apartment. It is so beautifully decorated, we hated to leave it when we went out for the day! Loved having a washer and dryer (I like to pack light!). While we didn't eat any meals there (we were in Paris after all!) the kitchen was well equipped. We would definitely stay here again!

My wife, daughter and I stayed at this apartment for 9 days (Dec.16/25) we found it to be exactly as per the photos, no surprises. It was very comfortable, the two bedrooms were large with king size beds, closets and storage areas. The bathroom was modern and larger than appeared on the photos. The apartment itself is in an inner courtyard so very quiet and secure. It is absolutely the best location possible, very central, walking distance to all the main sites and shopping also many restaurants, bakeries, groceries etc. Glam Paris were very helpful and professional right from the time of booking the apartment till we left Paris. We would definitely recommend them. From the airport I would suggest taking the taxi/limo proposed by Glam Paris as it is cost effective, door to door and coordinated.

Rowena Rowena  (Australia)  - January 23, 2016

Upon arriving on location we were met by a lovely host who took us around and showed us all the rooms, features of the apartment and went through the contract. This luxurious unit is so central to most attractions in Paris. It's also close to a small supermarket, nice restaraunts and even a coin operated laundromat . There's a bus stop outside and room for taxi and über pick ups. This apartment is very spacious for 4 -5 people. Safe, clean with heating and staff ready to assist through a phone call or email. I would highly recommended this apartment to anyone and would return to it myself.

Review from AirBnB

If you are visiting Paris, this is THE BEST PLACE to STAY!!!
Chris H  (United States)  - January 8, 2016

Booking was a breeze on VRBO. I was immediately contacted by the owners and they had everything ready upon arrival. Being to Paris for the first time, we had no idea what to expect. We did zero research, and hoped this place was in a good location. After spending 10 days there, this place is in the PERFECT location. Right in the heart of Paris! It was home base for all things. You are within walking distance of the G20 grocery store, the Louvre museum, and most importantly, the Metro - this is the subway system and is the only way to get around the city. You can literally get anywhere within 10-15 minutes. Walk across the river and you are at Notre Dame, St. Chappelle, the Army Museum, Eiffel Tower, Berthillion Ice Cream shop, and Laduree. There are TONS of restaurants (check out Claus right next to the apartment) and Les Halles underground shopping mall right outside your door.
The apartment is amazing and has all of the amenities of home (make sure you bring a power converter). The apartment has a TV, Netflix, newly remodeled kitchen, espresso machine, oven, dishwasher, laundry, refrigerator, updated bathroom, and two wonderfully appointed bedrooms. One has two full size beds, and the other a queen master. Tons of storage space so you don't have to live out of your suitcase. We felt like true Parisians here.
This is in a very old building (as they all are), and the old wooden floors do creak, so be mindful for the sake of the neighbors. Although you are in the heart of Paris, you are in a private gated area, and it is very quiet. We loved the fact that the owners checked in with us to ask us how we were doing. Very pleasant experience and will 100% book this again!

This is a spacious flat in a great location! The apartment is very safe and sound proof to street traffic. It is also VERY clean with wonderful beds. It is just a couple of blocks from Rue St.-Honoré, Rivoli and the Louvre. This location also offers wonderful cafe's, groceries and bakeries. Samia with GLAMAPARIS was very accommodating and allowed us an early check-in. She was incredible in ensuring that we were fully settled in by walking us around the flat and answering all of my questions. Samia and GLAMAPARIS were also very helpful and prompt with any questions we had during our stay. I can't say enough about her and the apartment! We will surely use GLAMAPARIS for our next Paris vacation and stay in this apartment if it is available.

We loved our stay at this apartment in Paris. The location made it very easy to navigate throughout Paris whether by metro or walking. The apartment was very clean, modern and secure. Grocery shopping was just a block away. GLAMAPARIS took very good care of us and I would definitely rent through them again

Great Paris retreat

My wife, teenage daughter, and I had a wonderful stay in this apartment August 9-14, 2015. Paul and GLAMAPARIS made everything easy for us whether it was transportation details or meeting us for check in on a Sunday. The apartment was very clean, and it is ideally located for exploring all that Paris has to offer. Many of the main attractions are within easy walking distance. The beds were very comfortable and supportive, so we always got a good night's sleep. The windows face an interior open space, so we got the natural light and outside air without any of the noise that you would expect in a big city. We also enjoyed using the kitchen to prepare our own meals on occasion. There are two nearby grocery stores as well. Overall, we had a delightful experience, and we will definitely contact GLAMAPARIS for our next visit.

Lovely apartment in great location
Dave73Bay  (United Kingdom)  - August 4, 2015

This is a beautiful apartment just a stone's throw from The Louvre and Ile de la Cite, so location is perfect for sightseeing. Metro is close too. Secure gated access into a lovely courtyard feels very grand. The apartment itself is decorated and furnished to a high standard. Huge master bedroom and another decent sized twin, both with good wardrobe space. The kitchen area is small but appliances all worked well. As with many rental apartments it isn't blessed with an abundance of cookware, but it's adequate. There isn't a conventional oven, but a combination microwave oven that does the job. Dishwasher and washing machine worked fine.
The living/dining area isn't massive - it was perfect for our family of four but as others have said its maybe not ideal for four adults wanting to lounge around. There is a big TV with (French) satellite channels and DVD that played our Region 2 DVDs with no problem. WiFi worked fine the whole stay.
Loads of eating options nearby in the streets either side of Les Halles. Also a good G20 supermarket just over the road and plenty of boulangerie options nearby.
Glamaparis were excellent all round. Rang Paul on arrival at Gare du Nord and he was there to meet us outside the apartment.

Parisian Delight
Douglas Maynard  (United States)  - June 21, 2015

My wife, twelve-year old son and I truly enjoyed our stay at this centrally located apartment. It is clean, comfortable and well appointed. The newly remodeled apartment is just as described. Although it has a nice modern decor, the charm of the old Parisian building was maintained. The beds in the master bedroom and second room are comfortable. The bathroom is modern and clean. The living area overlooks a quiet courtyard. We spent a month there, but rarely heard any noise from surrounding neighbors or businesses. Although the neighborhood is safe, the apartment is very secure. It requires a key to enter the courtyard (from the street), one to enter the building, and two keys to enter the apartment. The location is excellent. We walked to the Louvre, Seine, Forum des Halles, Pompidou and other nearby attractions. Two groceries stores, numerous restaurants and a metro station are also very close. The rental-agency management company (GLAMAPARIS) was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. Their service and communications were excellent. Although we arrived in Paris much earlier than our scheduled apartment check-in, our agent (Tanguy) met us there for an early check-in at no additional charge. He spoke excellent English, answered all our questions and provided us with some useful neighborhood information. We would choose this apartment again and look forward to dealing with GLAMAPARIS. I highly recommend GLAMAPARIS. They truly care about making their customer’s visit an enjoyable one.

Our family of four loved this centrally located apartment. Beautifully appointed, well equipped for a comfortable stay and also a very peaceful spot within the secure complex. Located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, museums and the river and many more wonderful sights, as well as the metro system. Communication was excellent and it was lovely to be greeted and shown around on our arrival. We would definitely recommend to others.

We'll always have Paris!
Caddy from Carolina  (United Arab Emirates)  - May 11, 2015

My sister and I and our 2 nieces found the apartment to be comfortable, quiet, and secure - perfect for 4 women during our 6-night stay. The apartment was clean and well appointed; the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a wonderful shower with great water pressure; the location was superb with an easy walk to both Les Halles and Louvre/Rivoli metro entrances, 2 excellent groceries, and several convenient restaurants. We especially enjoyed Chez Denise, a local French bistro. There was a fun street market nearby on Saturday morning where we bought crepes and fresh fruit. Communication with the management company for payment and arrival details was completely stress-free; it was comforting after a long journey to have someone meet us at the apartment and explain how the apartment worked. Tanguy, who met us with the keys, spoke excellent English, answered all questions and provided useful information. I had no trouble contacting him when the dishwasher tripped the electrical breaker and caused a power outage. Also, one small recommendation on bath linens: include wash clothes (an American woman thing, perhaps). When I return to Paris, I would chose this apartment again or definitely chose to work with this friendly and professional management group to secure an apartment. We had the time of our lives!

Mother and two daughters from Missouri/perfect spot for Spring Break
Laura B  (United States)  - March 24, 2015

This apartment was wonderful, beautiful, updated, clean, and in a perfect location, just as the description says. My daughters and I stayed for 8 nights. The building is safe and quiet. Everything is in walking distance which made our stay easier than I expected. The master bedroom with king bed is huge, and the smaller bedroom with two twins was perfect for my daughters. There is ample closet space in both rooms. The restoration done on this apartment was top notch, keeping the lovely plaster ceiling moldings and hardwood floors for that typical French apartment feel. The elevator is very convenient. I also wish to add that Glamaparis, the rental agency managing this apartment, is fabulous to work with. We arrived much earlier than expected, and the agent met us there within ten minutes for an early check-in at no charge. They stayed in touch throughout our stay and answered everything immediately. Glamaparis is truly caring about their guests and gaining customer loyalty. I felt that our needs, questions and concerns were of utmost importance to them. Another nice gesture is that the agent, Alexis, met us at the apartment, gave us a tour and showed us how to use everything, instead of just handing us a guidebook. Glamaparis gives a personal touch to their customers. I would definitely stay at this property again or elsewhere with Glamaparis, depending upon the size of my group.

Perfect city living in central Paris.
Karla Lethbridge  (Malta)  - March 13, 2015

A beautiful apartment, very conveniently located close to Châtelet - Les Halles station, RER line direct to Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, Orly and Disneyland Paris, plus Metro access. There are many decent restaurants in the area, great shopping and it's close to Rue Saint Honore for the daily provisions. Walkable to the Louvre, the Seine, Notre Dame Cathedral and other attractions, a perfect base for exploring. There's a lovely children playground just over the road, and the Les Halles area generally is enjoying a much needed facelift.

The apartment itself is extremely well appointed, comfortable beds, hotel style bed-linens and towels, large master bedroom and reasonably sized second room. It has a nice modern decor but has also maintained the charm of the beautiful old Parisian building. Extremely quiet, it overlooks a courtyard and you don't hear any noise from the Rue du Louvre which runs alongside the building. We also didn't hear any noise from surrounding neighbours or businesses.

The living and dining area are decent and comfortable, we were travelling with two small children and it fitted us perfectly. The lounge area is small but practical. It was fine as a place for us to sit once the children had slept, but perhaps too small if you are 4 adults planning on spending periods of time at home (but if you are 4 adults, I'm sure you'll be out enjoying some fine French cuisine instead!).

The kitchen is lacking in some of the very basics needed for cooking even a small meal (vegetable peeler, sharp knives, not enough saucepans), but apart from that functioned very well and has all of the appliances; dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, it was a huge bonus to find a Nespresso machine too :-)

The property was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The agency were a pleasure to deal with too, prompt replies and very professional correspondence, they are also situated close to the apartment. The agency permitted us both an early check in and to leave our bags for our final morning in Paris, both much appreciated.

I would thoroughly recommend - we had a fabulous week there.

Rue du Louvre – Perfect for our Family of Five!
Carie R  (United States)  - February 6, 2015

When we began to plan our trip to Paris for the 2014 Christmas holidays, we quickly realized we would need 2 hotel rooms to accommodate our family of 5. However, since we all wanted to be together, we determined that an apartment would be the best way to accomplish this.

We also couldn’t decide where to stay in Paris– Right/Left Bank, close to the busy center of town or in a quiet residential neighborhood. Fortunately, we were very lucky to have discovered this particular apartment (Prop. 1638741) located on Rue du Louvre because it had so many things going for it – a 5 minute walk to the Musee du Louvre, a 10 minute walk to Le Marais, a 2 minute walk to several excellent restaurants just to the north in the area around Rue Montorgueil, and best of all, a 2 minute walk to both the Les Halles and Louvre - Rivoli Metro Stations. This gave us immediate access to all parts of Paris very quickly. We could be in Saint-Germain-des-Pres on the Left Bank or the Arc de Triomphe or Le Marais on the Right Bank, in no time at all.

The two of us and our three kids -- ages 26, 23, and 13, all managed perfectly in this apartment. It was recently renovated and everything is brand new. The kitchen was perfect for the cooking we did. The bathroom, with its large shower and heated towel rack, was comfortable and modern. The beds and mattresses were comfortable and provided excellent support. Finally, the neighborhood is safe and the building is very secure, requiring key fobs to enter the courtyard from the street and the building itself, and keys to enter the apartment. The apartment is located deep inside the courtyard and away from any major neighboring streets, so it is very quiet and protected from traffic noise. Also, the TV service and Wi-Fi internet was excellent and very fast.

We were so pleased to have discovered this apartment, which really made our trip a wonderful and memorable one. We would definitely stay here again the next time we return to Paris!

Fantastic brand new apartment in the heart of Paris
George  (Australia)  - December 21, 2014

Our family of four (children aged 8 and 10) spent 7 days thoroughly enjoying the space of this elegant apartment and its privileged location. The apartment is beautifully appointed and incredibly central, being minutes away from the best museums, restaurants, metros and shopping. It is also very quiet as it overlooks an internal courtyard. We also had the best experience with Glamaparis, the managing agents, who were professional and incredibly helpful. We definitely recommend this apartment and the high level of service provided by Glamaparis.
