The apartment was spacious with 36o degree views of Paris. The floor plan works wonderfully for a family or couples.

The location has easy access to the Metro and is an easy walk to all of the Left Bank and Right Bank. The bakery at the corner is wonderful and the sandwiches not to be missed. This is a five star property!

Paul Barraud was our rental agent- he is charming and kind and went above and beyond in making sure our stay was pleasant and everything was in working order.

I am a frequent traveler to Paris over the last 30 years- this property was the most conducive location and accommodation for sites, food , gardens and transportation plus it is quiet! Grab a sandwich at the corner or Gerard Mulot and spend the morning in the Jardin de Luxembourg. Paris does not get any better!

Awesome apartment in a great location!
Kathy S.  (United States)  - March 1, 2016

We stayed at this apartment in the end of December with my husband and two teenaged daughters. It was clean, the layout was great and the neighborhood was centrally located. In fact, because the weather was so beautiful the week we were there, we walked all over central Paris from this location. I would definitely rent it again.

Everything about this apartment not only met our expectations but exceeded them. The apartment was large, beautifully appointed, well maintained and in a perfect location. Lyazat and Paul at GLAMAPARIS responded to our requests and needs both before and during our stay in a prompt and professional manner, including a minor water leak that was attended to in less than 30 minutes. We will definately request this property the next time we visit Paris and if it is unavailable we will surely be dealing with the folks at GLAMAPARIS.

Perfect apartment in St Germain
kristi carlton  (United States)  - October 15, 2015

We had a wonderful stay in this rooftop apartment that was perfectly located to take advantage of all that the St Germain area has to offer. We took our 75 year old parents and the 4 of us were very very comfortable! The kitchen was perfectly equipped for eating in as we desired. Paul was fabulous meeting us, going over everything and making himself available if we needed. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to this beautiful city!

Excellent location, great remodel, very spacious!
Sonbol Aliabadi  (United States)  - October 15, 2015

The apartment is as described. Definitely a great value! Very conveniently located, near a metro station. Within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. The unit is nicely remodeled. There are 2 bathrooms, Only one has a shower (the master has a hand held shower). It is on the 7th floor, the elevator goes to the 6th floor, which means you will have a spiral stair-case to climb, which was not an issue for us. The views of Eiffel tower and other monuments are an added benefit! The agency was very easy to work with.

It made our trip!
Kathleen Kelly  (United States)  - September 16, 2015

This apartment made our trip to Paris - and we might actually say - it was the best vacation we have ever had. The arrangements were seamless. The photos 100% accurate. The apartment is spacious and beautifully appointed. We love to cook at home and the kitchen was fantastic. We appreciated that the owner had good cookware and spices available. The beds were comfortable. We are shower people so we used the bathroom in the guest room instead of the tub in the master. And over all that, the best part was the view of the Eiffel Tower as it sparkled on the hour at night.

We highly recommend this apartment and can't wait to return.

An unforgettable experience!
Wafa F.  (Morocco)  - April 25, 2015

This was the very first time that I rented an apartment in Paris instead of staying at a hotel or with friends and I am thrilled with that decision. Everything about our nine day visit to Paris was wonderful from the moment we arrived until the day we left.

The GlamAParis representatives --Samia and Paul, in particular -- are professional, friendly and aim to be of service at all time. I even had a package delivered to their offices. The apartment is perfectly located and wonderfully maintained. It is less than ten minutes walk from Blvd St Germain, Les Deux Magots, the Cafe Flore, and Brasserie Lipp. In fact you can walk to so many landmarks you only need a comfortable pair of shoes.

In the apartment itself, everything was in working order and extremely clean and the furniture comfortable. It is flooded with sunlight, very spacious and very quiet despite the busy rue de Rennes (The rooms are in the back). There were three of us most of the time and we never felt crowded. It was like being at home, only in Paris.

I highly recommend this apartment and its managing company. You will love it, I promise you.

Our stay at the apartment was fabulous! Directly in the St Germain area and close to most everything we needed and wanted to see. The service we received from the Glam Paris agents was always spot-on and they were both prompt and attentive from the moment we arrived to getting us back to the airport. We would definitely go with their services again and have already recommended them to some of our friends.

Absolutely wonderful!
Jo-Anne E.  (United States)  - April 7, 2015

The apartment was a treasure, just a delight, comfortable with great views of the Eiffel Tower at night, sparkling in the background. A large spacious kitchen and leg room for all of us. We cooked many evening meals, but enjoyed delicious pain au chocolat every morning, trying various neighborhood boulangeries. We walked a quick 7 minutes to a great supermarket called Le Grand Epicere next to Le Bon Marche. Well worth it. A very pretty store with a fresh assortment of goodies, including the bakery and a great wine shop in the lower level. The apartment suited our needs very well. It was bright, fresh, airy and contemporary. We thoroughly loved staying here. And the team at GlamAParis was incredibly helpful. They were professional, courteous, friendly, easy to work with and made our stay better than it would have been. When we arrived in Paris early Saturday morning (before the apartment was ready for us), they let us store our baggage in their offices while we walked around the city. Any question or concern was immediately responded to with care and kindness. We would definitely rent through GlamAParis again. We highly recommend them and their properties.

Exceptional Apartment in the Heart of Paris
Chris R.  (United States)  - December 5, 2014

This is the second time we have stayed in this apartment over the US Thanksgiving Holiday week. Not only is the apartment beautiful, relaxing, spacious and very comfortable, it was alway a treat to walk back in after a day of being in Paris. It is also perfectly located in the heart of the 6th arrondissement, with close access to several metro lines, shops (especially chocolate and pastries) and various landmarks. Paul and the other staff at Glam were welcoming, easy to work with and very responsive. We definitely we will be back.

Truly special apartment
wobbs1  (United States)  - November 18, 2014

This apartment is exceptional for Paris by any standard. For one thing, it is enormous: 135 sq mt. It is located in an old, but well maintained building with a reliable elevator, a 2-door security system on the ground floor, and nicely outfitted stairways (with carpeting, which really cuts down the stairway noise). This is a top-notch, high-end residential building, which is unusual for a vacation rental. (We didn't notice any other short-term units in the building.) And the spacious, well-designed interior of the apartment lives up to expectations. With all the windows and light, this apartment must be breezy and wonderful in the warmer weather.

But, of course, the thing that really stands out about this apartment is that is on the 7th floor, above most other nearby buildings, offering a clear view of Notre Dame, the Tour Eiffel, and the Tour Montparnasse. We would set our watches by the hourly few minutes when the Tour Eiffel "goes sparkly" with its LED light show.

Being on the 7th floor, the last floor and a half is on foot, so this apartment is not ideal for folks with mobility problems.

We like to cook, and the kitchen is very well equipped. It has oodles of storage space and place settings for 8 (at least). The 3-hob range is a bit limiting, however. But everything you need is there. There are 3 boulangeries within a block. I preferred the one just to the north on the rue de Rennes. This is an area of clothing shops, so we didn't find any nearby butchers or cheese mongers. However, Le Grand Epicerie is 10 minutes walk, and they have absolutely everything you could want. Bonus: there is a Patrick Roger chocolate store 2 doors from the apartment.

Internet access worked flawlessly for us. And, the apartment has a telephone that allows free calls to the US and other countries.

The master bedroom has a tub, and the other bedroom a shower. There are two separate WCs. The washing machine (in 3rd separate closet) works well. There also is a dryer (!) which works about as well as all dryers that don't have external venting (e.g., don't be in a hurry).

As other have said, there are 3 metro stations on 3 different lines within 5 minutes walk, so getting anywhere is very easy. Many important sites are within walking distance (e.g., St. Germain-des-Pres, Invalides, Luxembourg Gardens, Cluny Museum).

All this doesn't come cheap. The apartment is well above our normal budget, and we got a good rate because of the off-season. Still, Paris is an expensive city. In this case, you get what you pay for. It would have ben more affordable with another couple ... there is more than enough room.

And finally, we found Glam@Paris to be very easy to deal with, and extremely helpful. We had to change rental dates at a very late date, and our agent Paul worked hard to find some alternatives. We were cheerfully greeted at the apartment as expected, and our departure meeting was uneventful as well. We did have a problem with the hot water on Nov. 1 which is a holiday. The agency owner came personally to fix the problem! I would not hesitate to rent from Glam@Paris again!

This is a fabulous apartment, with stunning rooftop views across Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dane and le Tour Montparnasse.

The apartment is spacious and beautifully furnished, it has everything you could want, the perfect 'pied à terre' in Paris. In addition the area is stunning, very close to the 7 th arrondissement with choice shops and a plethora of great restaurants and cafés within close walking distance. The staff at Glamaparis were all wonderfully helpful.

I will definitely be coming back here.

Exceeded expectations, perfect for families
Adrianna Spicer  (United States)  - August 10, 2014

Our experience with this apartment was exceptional from beginning to end!

Booking the apartment with the agency that manages it was easy. They also made several recommendations, and provided a PDF "guide to the neighbourhood" before we arrived. When we got there, we were met by the same person we had been communicating with by email, Samia, who took us for a tour of the apartment and answered questions.

The apartment was extremely clean, bright, and airy. Though we thought the photos made it look lovely, it may actually be even better in real life! What you can't see is that it's really quite spacious, and very quiet at night. It was very well equipped, we didn't come across anything we needed that wasn't there - there's even a wheeled shopping bag for going to the Raspail Market, just a few blocks away on Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday (Organic on Sunday).

We thought the location was perfect. There are two bakeries right on the corner (Secco and Paul); Secco opens at 7:30 for croissants and coffee! There's a "supermarket" (G20) a few blocks away; it'll do in a pinch, but then we discovered..."La Grande Épicerie de Paris" at 38 Rue de Sèvres. I'm going to say this is about a 10-minute walk, and worth the visit! It's the most upscale grocery store I've seen, with an amazing variety of EVERYTHING from food (including wine) to housewares. There's a pharmacy on the corner, but if you're looking for basics like toothpaste or shampoo, I'd suggest heading to the Monoprix, about a 5-minute walk up Rue de Rennes (it has a bit of everything, including some food items). We walked everywhere...there are many cafés in the area, the Luxembourg Garden less than 10 minutes away, and Notre Dame is about a 20-minute walk - just to give you an idea of its proximity to things. Having said all that, there are many Metro stations nearby, if you prefer.

We loved our week in Paris. If we're lucky enough to return, I can't imagine finding a nicer place to call "home" during our stay.

Jennifer Foss  (United States)  - April 15, 2014

This apartment is gorgeous! Extremely spacious and well laid out. The apartment had every amenity you could possibly need and was spotless. It's location was within walking distance to wonderful shops and restaurants, and very close to the Metro. If you are an avid walker, you can access all the Paris attractions from the apartment, including the Louvre, Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral. We received a great welcome from Paul who was very helpful and courteous. This property was recommended to me by a friend who stayed there last August and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others. I hope to return to Paris and this apartment soon!

All rooms with extraordinary views of Paris, very comfortable. Everything was as described. From the time we meet the agent, to the time we had to leave, everything was perfect. We already plan to come back to Paris, and stay in this very luxurious and comfortable apartment.

Beautiful respite in a bustling city
Tracy P.  (United States)  - July 11, 2013

With the grand amount of site seeing we did in Paris, this apartment was a welcome respite at the end of each day--spacious, relaxing, and well-appointed. A view of the Eiffel Tower was icing on the cake.

The rental agency, Glam@Paris, was responsive and helpful, both during the booking process as well as during our stay. We needed help with a couple of things in the apartment after we arrived and they responded the same day. Meghan was our primary contact, which we appreciated because she speaks English and was very friendly.

The location was fabulous--3 metro stations and lines within a short walk (5 minutes or less). We (family of 4, including a 7- and 9-year old) easily walked to Luxembourg Gardens, St. Sulpice, Amorino ice cream parlor, grocery store, SNCF boutique, Le Bon Marché, as well as the boulangerie/patisserie just 75 steps from the apartment (we counted!). There are many cafes within walking distance, and the major sites are easily reached via metro, if not by walking. This apt is perfect for a family because there 2 toilets, a stand-up shower, separate tub, 4 bathroom sinks, and two separate bedrooms; our kids were delighted to each get their own bed. Kitchen was lovely and well-appointed. The apartment is decorated with a fair amount of glass objects, so not ideal for very young children (our 7 year old was ok, but we moved some items out of reach). There was a blow dryer as well as a few umbrellas, which came in handy!

As far as apt rentals go, this is a gem--incredibly spacious by Paris standards, including the bathrooms, nice views (Notre Dame, St Sulpice, Sorbonne, Pantheon, Eiffel Tower, which sparkles at night), and great location. We would gladly stay here again!

it has a great 180º view (notre dame and eiffel tower) and it's very comfortabke, not to mention it's really close to 2 metro stations on a street full of nice stores and boulangeries and just a 5-minute walk away from the famous "café de flore" and "deux magots".

I also must mention the wonderful team from glamaparis who helped us through the whole process in the nicest way.

Beyond Perfect!!!
Kathleen Woodman  (United States)  - May 8, 2012

My husband and I, along with another couple, were fortunate enough to secure this lovely apartment 9 months prior to our trip to France in May 2012. We spent an entire day reviewing numerous apartments on several different websites. We were looking for an upper story apartment in the 6th with two bedrooms, two separate bathrooms, washer/dryer and a fabulous view. This apartment far exceeded our expectations. The photos were enticing, however, it didn't begin to match the beauty of the actual apartment. The apartment was immaculate, location was perfect and we could walk to most everything, there was a taxi stand right outside the building and the metro was a block or two away. The apartment was extremely quiet, secure and we felt safe at all times. It was on the 7th floor and we had a lift, however, we took the stairs quite often. The view was spectacular, something to see in every direction, including Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower. The late night light show from the Eiffel Tower was magical! The apartment had recently been completely redone and it was absolutely beautiful. It could easily appear in a design magazine. The owner didn't miss a thing. Plus It was spacious, even by American standards. We had more room than we had imagined. The windows opened and we had four sets of doors that opened to the outdoors where we could step out and enjoy the view from the little balconies. We thought the price was a good value for 2 couples and once we saw the apartment, we knew it was a great value.

Working with the staff at Glamaparis was a very pleasant experience and we would work with them again in a heartbeat. They were very professional, quick to respond, always pleasant and extremely helpful. Once we decided to secure the apartment we even received a phone call from their office to finalize the details and secure the deposit. They arranged for a driver to meet us at the airport and drive us to the apartment. Cecile met us outside the apartment and welcomed us to Rue de Rennes. She showed us how everything worked in the apartment and made herself available for any future questions or concerns. Upon our departure, their rep arrived promptly on time to check us out of the apartment. It was a hassle free experience. I don't think we could have found a more perfect place for the 4 of us to stay. Paul, Cecile and Enrique were wonderful to work with. They, along with this incredible apartment, made this a trip of a lifetime!

It is not easy to recommend an apartment I would happily make home were it available indefinitely and had I the means to make it happen!

I have no complaints about this apartment; and I am difficult to please. Its views of Paris neatly summarize its prime location and the the grandeur of the capital, turning clockwise from the Eiffel Tower (sparkling at night in a splash of diamonds) the spires of nearby St. Sulpice, Notre Dame, the church of the Sorbonne, the Pantheon and north to the Montparnasee Tower, while leaning from the window but not too much one can just see a part of the green and gold awning of the Deux Magots at St. Germain-ded-Près.

The building has a pleasant atmosphere, the apartment itself seems brand new and there is ample space for everything. That's it! I'll never be able to book it now!

Perfect 2 Bed, 2 Bath in the Heart of the 6th
kelly cooper  (United States)  - December 22, 2011

I spent a lot of time on the web looking for just the right place to stay, and this was it. I was skeptical of all the 5 star ratings, but this apartment rates it.

My criteria: in the 6th, close to the metro (San Sulplice and St Germain), 2 bedroom, 2 bath, and charming. If this is your price range, take back a weekend spent searching the web, and book it.

The property was immaculately clean, the kitchen was perfectly equipped, the beds (and most importantly the pillows) were comfortable.

The decor was simple but there are alot of little details that make it seem really special. The closet in the master has super built ins. The apartment is very newly renovated, and really well done. The bathrooms are really nicely done. Its a bonus to have the washer and dryer. The heaters work really well.

The owners photographic art is gorgeous.

It faces Rue de Rennes but is very quiet. The building elevator goes up to the 5th floor and there is a staircase and a 1/2 walk up- worth it to get to the top floor and have stunning views of Paris- including the Eiffel Tower, San Suplice, Notre Dame, The Pantheon. Its so high up, you get a really commanding view, and the building architecture is beautiful.

The pictures dont do it justice.

Paul and Enrique from Glam@Paris asked about any issues and were on time to meet us for arrival and departure.

It is so close to so many great restaurants and shops- we love Le Comptior and Chez Dumonet. Lots of boulangeries. The Vassellierie down the street is an amazing place for housewares- so much cheaper than the kitchen shops on Etienne Marcel. This is the heart of shopping- less than 5 minutes to the new Hermes boutique, The Bon Marche, the heart of St Germain boutiques. Its a dream if you like to shop, you dont need to leave the quartier.

I would recommend to friends and would book it when I come back. We stayed here with our 2 teenage daughters. Our Parisian relatives were very impressed!

Light, airy and Wonderful
Tina  (United States)  - October 20, 2011

The apartment on Rue Rennes was a wonderful added bonus to our trip to Paris and far exceeded our expectations, even though it was recommended by friends who stayed there.

Walking in the door, the first impression is one of lightness and a lifting of the spirits after a long transatlantic flight and portended that the rest of our trip to the City of Lights would be equal to the lovely, welcome feeling extended by our host, as he showed us around this beautiful and extremely efficient, spacious apartment.

My daughter and I loved staying there and found it convenient as a starting point to all the places we wanted to visit. The proximity to some great shopping areas, restaurants and some beautiful sights from every single window, as well as the corner Boulangerie where we would pick up our croissants and baguettes for the next morning, was terrific. After a long day of walking, shopping, sightseeing and dining, the lovely, large bathtub in the back bedroom, provided a sybaritic soak to my overindulged in everything, body.

I would recommend this apartment highly to anyone considering a trip to Paris. Walking in the door every night, the very scent of the place made us smile and sigh that we were in our home away from home and indeed one that we would be loathe to leave at the end our too short week.

Perfect spot in St-Germain
Homeaway User  (United States)  - September 10, 2011

Stayed at this apartment in early september. Location was perfect, close to all amenities and within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

The property was "as seen" on the pictures, very clean and spacious, well maintained. Beautiful views of landmarks from every window.

Were greeted upon arrival at the apartment with fruit basket and bottle of champagne.

There is an elevator but it doesn't take you all the way up. Therefore you do have to climb two flights of stairs. Little mix up about when the cleaning lady was supposed to show up but overall great stay. Manager was easy to reach.

I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family.

Thank you to Julien, Diane and Damien

My husband and I, along w/ a another couple, stayed in the apartment for a little over a week and couldn't have been happier there. The apartment itself is everything you see in the pictures—and MORE.

Every evening from the dining room table, you can watch the Eiffel Tower sparkle!

Being on the top floor, with all the windows and balcony doors, the breeze is amazing.

Beautiful, clean, quiet building in the center of St. Germain des Pres and all its shopping glory.

Totally convenient to subways.

Restaurants and markets all just down the block.

Love having a washer/dryer.

We would stay there again in a heartbeat. It's absolutely lovely.

After 3 long trips to Paris in 5 years, we are now convinced this is our favorite neighborhood in our favorite Arrondissment. And now, after 3 apartments in 5 years, we have found our home in Paris.

This apartment is bright and open: the many windows have wonderful views, some spectacular, some touchingly mundane (e.g., the neighbor's flowers and a great variety of chimney pots). The place is sparklingly clean and crisp, and very large even for four people. The decor is unobtrusive, even neutral. Terrific kitchen, miles of counter space, fabulous shower. The building itself is kept in top repair. Anything you might want, from restaurants to food markets to boutiques, are right there within two short blocks. And for those of you who, unlike me, are not from a big city, do not fear urban noise: 8 floors up from the street with efficient windows = quiet. Except for the noisy doves and swallows, an occasional crow or seagull, that you can watch. The swallows are my favorites.

The managing company in charge is professional, efficient, and responsive, and you have nothing to fear.

If Paris is your dream, go for it, and rent this glorious apartment.

(Just do not do it when I want to rent it again next year!)

Perfect St, Germain apartment
Nislam  (United States)  - March 9, 2011

We stayed at the apartment for 4 nights and loved it. This penthouse apartment was very spacious, sun drenched, immaculate, with plenty of Parisian charms- including classic rooftop views and that of major landmarks - but with a modern look and amenities. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms are fully renovated, everything worked perfectly,

The location was fantastic- a great boulangerie right downstairs, good selection of restaurants and cafes nearby- including Cafe de Flore and Les Deux Margot just 3 minutes away. The metro is just down the block too.

We bought back fresh fish, meats and other delicacies from Bon Marche (5 minutes walk) and other specialty stores it was a pleasure to make dinner at the well equipped kitchen every night and just hang out after a long day out. What a luxury to have all that space in such a great neighborhood.

I must admit, even though we rent apartments and villas, on our travels whenever we can, we get a bit apprehensive about whether things will be as described in the website (especially when we go through a company we have not used before). But this one turned out wonderfully- from the moment we arrived to when we left (reluctantly). Paul responded promptly to our inquiries and was very helpful in working things out even though we made the bookings at the very last minute. We can't wait to return and it would be a pleasure to rent this apartment again.
