Simply WOW! If you want to soak in Paris architecture, culture, nightlife and food - this location is the best there is. My wife, two kids (11 & 13) and I stayed here for a week and didn't want to leave. The balconies (two of them) are to-die-for. The apartment simply oozes with old-Paris charm. The exposed beams give it character. The two private bedrooms are on different levels - one split-level and one upstairs from the main living space. This created great privacy for jet-lag napers and a great adult space upstairs. Both bedrooms have a full bath.
Glamparis was amazing to work with. They were extremely responsive to all my emails prior to our trip. They were flexible on arrival check-in. The morning of our flight, Paul texted me right on-schedule, helped me with travel information from the airport (take the RER - it lets out 50 yards from the flat) and met us at the door. It could not have been more smooth. The apartment was well-stocked. Paul had a bottle of champaign waiting for us, as well as a map and recommendations for restaruants.
We spent much of the week on the main terrace taking in the view of Notre Dame. You are litterally in the Church's shadow. We would watch the tourists line-up each morning, and then have a bottle of wine watching the sun set as the night life of the Latin Quarter kicked-in. Tourists boats would glide by on the river every 15 minutes and you could see people pointing up to us relaxing on the balcony (probably saying "who gets to stay there?").
A few things to note - which others have mentioned. It is 6 flights of stairs up. We are an active family and saw this as a plus (a built-in stair climber). There is street noise at night, but the windows are very high quality and the air conditioning works REALLY WELL. So this was not a problem. The main couch in the living room needs to be replaced (not comfortable and cushions slide off easily). It is a small apartment.
There are 3 grocery stores within a few block walk. We cooked in about half the nights. We just didn't want to leave the deck. My morning stroll to the bakery for fresh croissants was amazing. You can literally see the Metro and RER entrance from the flat. And there are bike-share stations within 2 blocks in every direction. We biked along the river almost every day. Biking to the Arc De Triomphe and Eiffel Tower were real hits with the kids.
I could literally write a book about how much we loved staying here. 5 stars and then some.
Our main requirements were 1) central location, 2) comfortable sleeping for four, 3) two bathrooms. Check, check and check. This apartment exceeded our expectations. The view of Notre Dame, the cleanliness, easy access to the Metro, walking distance to lot of interresting attractions, nearby grocery store, a really good small restaurant right beneath us (and a larger one not so good). Once we lugged our suitcases up the seemingly endless stairs, those steps were not so daunting for the remainder of our stay. Tanguy, the charming host who met us outside the building as we arrived from the Metro, was truly a vacation-saver for us! It was our grandchildren's spring break and their first trip to the continent. Grandson's luggage was lost. As our French language skills are "non bon", Tanguy took charge of the problem immediately and made it his problem. We could not have handled it on our own -- at least, not without much consternation and aggravation. It was a service beyond what the contract promised, and we are grateful!
Back to the apartment. The bathrooms were clean and modern with excellent water pressure. An added bonus was the washer and dryer so that we did not over pack. The kitchen was well equipped with both large and small appliances and plenty of utensils, etc. There was lots of natural daylight in each room. The two bedrooms were well separated from each other. We did not watch much tv, but the tvs were good and it was fun trying to understand French. The heating/air conditioning system was good. The bed linens were excellent. The beds were comfortable.
We did not have much down time, but when we did, our favorite thing to do was watch the "show" from our windows. There was always lots going on outside.
This was our first time to rent an apartment while traveling. It will not be our last.

We were in France for four weeks and started with a week in Paris at this apartment. It was fantastic! We used the RER train from the airport so had a few blocks to walk, dragging our suitcases. Our friends, who came a day later, used the car service and raved about it. Yes, the steps were daunting at first but we got really good at them. The apartment is in an apt. building and the stairwell is a bit raggedy but the apartment itself was lovely. The floor plan worked well for 2 couples. I loved the lower bedroom with the skylight. We made great use of the great neighborhood and restaurant guides. We found the Monoprix grocery store next to Starbucks on Bo Mich and got groceries for breakfast on the deck and several suppers at the apartment. The hop-on, hop-off bus stop was right there and we took all 4 routes. We spent hours on the deck watching the boats on the Seine and just people watching. I think we were there during a school vacation week and there was a lot of activity in the square in front of the Cathedral at night. There was also late night partying on the quai almost under our windows. Also had sirens from vehicles gong to the police station a block away. We never did get the phone to work but everything else did, including the oven that switched from conventional to microwave. We were also happy to have the washer and dryer. GLAMPARIS was a pleasure to work with, before, during and after. My one technical complaint was that the commission fees were buried on the third page of the contract and were in addition to the list of fees on the first page, giving me some sticker shock at the end. Yes, I would definitely like to come here again.

If you are an independent traveler who packs light, prefers to immerse yourself in the life of the city and people you are visiting, likes to walk everywhere, is physically fit, appreciates outstanding views, and wants the privacy and luxury of your own space, look no further for this is the spot for you. The private balconies provide access to a panoramic, breathtaking view of the Seine, Notre Dame, the streets, people, lights, and changing sky plus all of the smells and noises of the city. A wonderful, delightful sensory experience. We had the pleasure of excellent weather and a full moon. Capturing the rising moon shining brightly through the iron work of one of the towers of Notre Dame will remain a lovely image. Amenities are top-notch. Stairs are narrow and spiral. Ceilings are low with exposed beams. Maubert Market (open air) just east, then south a few blocks, where you will also find Fromagerie Laurent Dubois, wine shop, bakery, and food ready to go. Location is perfect for all of your wants and needs. We found GlamaParis reliable, helpful, responsive, and caring. We used its recommended car service which was also terrific.

The views of this apartment are to die for. Notre Dame is your backdrop from nearly every window. Just above the famous Shakespeare and Co. bookstore, around the corner from Maubert markets and a step away from the St Michel Metro and RER, this apartment is worth every Euro and the five flights of stairs. Wine, bread, cheese and prosciutto from the markets on the balcony with our family (who were staying nearby) was a highlight of our trip. We could have stayed up there watching Paris and tourists go by.
My husband and sons managed the stairs easily, and I just took my time with them and was fine. It has quite generously sized rooms, good beds, modern appliances. You won't be cooking a gourmet meal as the kitchen is a bit limited, but this did not worry us. The apartment has double glazing so the noise of the city is muted and there is reverse cycle air conditioning in each room. It was clean and the retro decorating is quite funky. The main bedroom is quite big, with a good bathroom/laundry - and you could see Notre Dame lit up from the bed at night. Our two teenage boys were quite comfortable in the smaller bedroom and appreciated their separate toilet and shower.
The company we dealt with were very efficient over the internet, and Julian, who met us, was very friendly and helpful. If you stay here, make sure you go to the Maubert markets on Tues and Thurs, and the cheese shop, roast chicken shop and Kaiser boulangerie are a must. Supermarket for the basics is nearby. Try not to turn right out of the apartment as it is very touristy area and there are better shops and restaurants in Maubert.
You are also within walking distance of the Lourve, Tuilleries, Place de Vogues, St Germaine, and Jardin de Luxembourg.
