This is a wonderful apartment to stay in and I would highly recommend it. It's located in a great area of Paris that's full of cafes, restaurants and shops. It's close to metro stations, but it's also very easy to walk to major Paris landmarks and neighbourhoods. Communication with the host was easy and the apartment was very clean. »
This was our 3rd time happily using Glamaparis and we will use them again on our next trip. Eunice, Robin and Damien were excellent to deal with. They were happy for us to collect the keys very late due to the Paris transport strike and took time to ensure we were happy with all aspects of the apartment. They contacted us to ensure we were happy after a couple of days, which was a nice touch. The apartment at rue St. Andre des Arts was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We have found the same with all our previous Glamaparis apartments. Glamaparis is welcoming, professional and we trust them fully.
Truly a great place to stay in Paris. Non only the location was a plus close to the Seine and shopping but also very comfortable and very clean. Robin was so helpful thank you Robin for all your help and for being there for us when needed.
This apartment is even better than advertised, while the pictures in the listing are accurate, they don't quite show how massive this apartment is; if you're looking for a large perfectly located space in the heart of the Latin quarter this is it; triple glazed windows ensure complete silence, even though the vibrant, bustling street below seldom slowed down. There are literally countless cafes, shops, eateries etc. within steps of this quite safe and secure space; super comfortable beds, heated floors and every comfort of home were absolutely perfect for a bit of respite after or long days of walking through the city. Robin and Eunice were so courteous and pleasantly professional, they met me early, explained everything, and made sure I had all the information I needed not only about the apartment but also the area(shopping, eateries, emergency services, etc. etc.) I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for a high end apartment at a great value
We have used Glamaparis for Paris apartment rentals for the past 8 years. Their staff - this time Eunice, are very helpful and responsive and the apartments are excellent: clean, well equipped and well-managed. The Rue St Andre apartment was perhaps the best appointed and spacious with wonderful artwork as well. Worried about the 39 steps to the 2nd floor but really not bad with good stair rails. We'll definitely continue to use Glam.
We liked this apartment very much. The windows in front (living and one bedroom) are great and shut out all but the loudest of sounds. The larger bedroom in back was nice, but we did have to remind ourselves to duck through the short door. When the temperature got above 80 F it was very very warm and we used the fans pointed right at us. The location is terrific. Lots of food right outside your door. We had fun here
Very nice apartment in a good location of Paris. The apartment was clean and all the amenities listed were available. There is a nice neighborhood to walk around in the evening and get something to eat. The restaurants are a bit touristy, but they were good, and we didn't want to go far every night. Just grab dinner and go back in. The metro and train station are right on the corner, and that was a big plus for us. Notre Dame and other attractions well within walking distance.
Neighborhood is very nice and quiet, just outside of the Latin Quarters, but no negative effects from there. We opened the windows and ran the fans to cool the apartment, so it was not bad. It was near 90 degrees while we were there, and it was fine. Paul at Glam Paris met us right on time and showed us in. Great place to stay.
The apartment is huge and the two bedrooms are quite far apart. The kitchen is better stocked than most places I've stayed. You can't tell from the picture, but both bedrooms have attached tub and/or shower. Strangely, the toilet rooms are completely separate from both. The bedroom in the back has a private toilet but the bedroom in front uses the common toilet near the dining room. Not a big deal though.
The apartment is located conveniently to the Metro and RER and lots of dining options. Grocery stores are nearby. Samia at GLAMAPARIS met us right away on arrival and responded quickly to all inquiries. I highly recommend you choose this property!!
Glam Paris a highly professional agency with attention to detail.
The apartment building was historic but renovated and the apt was meticulous. Loved the neighborhood and our winding staircase.
We had a lovely time in this apartment. My husband and I stayed for 9 days with our 2 teenaged boys. It's perfectly situated if you want to be in the middle of bustling Paris. Place St. Michel is quite touristy, and noisy, so if you don't like that this might not be the place for you. We loved the easy access to many cafes, bistros, and crepe places, as well as the metro, train, and bus lines. Many major attraction (Notre Dame, Louvre, Sorbonne, Jardin de Luxembourg) are within walking distance. We were greeted on arrival by Joao who gave us great information on the neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised to find the apartment even more spacious that it looks in the pictures, with windows that look right over the street. The furniture was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Be aware that the two bedrooms are very far apart, which is perfect for 2 couples or with older children like ours, but might not be good if you have younger kids that you want to be close to at night. Although the apartment was very quiet with all windows shut, it was warm, even in April, so I can see that in the summer if you wanted to keep the windows open, it would be noisy at night, as other reviewers have said. A few small complaints - there is no internet in the master bedroom (I used a bunch of international data one night when I thought I was on wifi). There's really no excuse for that with the availability of signal repeaters. We couldn't get the oven to work but didn't try very hard. It looked like it needed to be reset or something. To be fair, we were given a contact number and could have tried to get these problems fixed, but we didn't bother. We also found the pillows to be very hard. But overall, we were very pleased with our home away from home in Paris.
The apartment was wonderful, in a great location and exceeded our expectations. We loved how spacious it was, the beds were very comfortable and even with one of the bedrooms on the street there was no noise. We would definitely recommend this apartment and may even stay here again one day!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this spacious, well-appointed apartment. Everything was well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for light cooking and supplies. And, the apartment couldn't have been more convenient! We were 50-100 meters from the Metro, RER and many bus lines making getting around Paris so easy. Thank you for a great vacation!
One of the best locations in Paris. Glamaparis was very good to work with. The apartment was exactly how it was represented. I will use them again for sure.
The apartment was very spacious and very clean. The location could not have been better, close to metro station and bus stops, and within walking distance to the Louvre, Musee D'Orsay, Notre Dame, and the Conciergerie. Many restaurants and grocery store within walking distance. This was a great place for a family to stay during a week long trip to Paris
The apartment was exactly as advertised, large and comfortable and well equipped. Like the earlier reviewer, we were lucky enough to have a five-week stay, so we got to know the place and the neighborhood very well. Our only problems were noise. It was warm and humid in May and early June, and we needed to have the windows open to sleep. We had the quiet master bedroom, but neighbors were doing construction starting at about 12:30 p.m. It was our mistake, however, to accept it and not say anything to Glamaparis for a few days. When we finally did, they immediately contacted the owner, who made the offending neighbors (we think the owners of the bakery downstairs) stop.
Friends took the front bedroom for the last two weeks, and they also couldn't sleep without the window open because of the warmth, and the noise was an issue on some nights, especially weekends. But that's just the way it is. It wouldn't bother some people, and in cooler times it would be a non-issue.
We loved the place otherwise. Great service from the Glamaparis folks and the housecleaners, and a great location. A highlight of the stay for me was morning jogs along the Seine to the Tuileries or Jardin des Plantes, and early-evening sessions at Cafe Lutece with a glass of rose and the new edition of A Moveable Feast.
We are food people (I'm a longtime restaurant critic) and we mostly stuck to simple bistros. I was quite impressed with our favorite local spot, Cafe Latin, which stood out on a street of touristy places. For a more serious meal, try Itineraires in the 5th (fantastic), and the nightly special prix-fixe at Les Editeurs in the 6th. Don't miss an early lunch (before the line gets too long) at Le Comptoir de Relais, nearby in the 6th. La Palette is good for lunch/brunch. Chez Fernand is full of Americans but the beef bourguignonne and chocolate lava cake with caramel sea salt ice cream are as good as their reputation. The seafood at Huguette is terrific. Brasserie Lipp is overpriced, crowded, and not so great, but that's too be expected. Favorite spots a little farther away included La Cantine de Troquet Daguerre (Basque/Southwest) in the 14th; Le Coq Rico in Montmartre (a splurge but home to the best roast chicken in Paris); the lunch cafe in Musee Jacquemart-Andre; Les Philosophes in the 4th; and Le Bougainville in the 2nd.
Can't wait to return.

We moved to this apartment from another to accommodate the arrival of our son and his family, and it was a perfect solution to our needs. By Parisian standards, or almost any other large city in Europe, this apartment is HUGE ! There were two bedrooms, one very large with a full bath facility, and separated from the rest of the apartment by the kitchen and this made an ideal place for my son, his wife and our two small granddaughters. It was quiet and dark and faced an interior "courtyard". Our bedroom was on the front and overlooked the narrow and extremely busy rue Saint-André des Arts, a hub of activity from about noon each day until sometimes close to 4AM ! Superb windows shut out almost 100% of the noise from the street but when it's hot outside, as it was, this isn't a luxury you can afford despite some very good fans in each living area.
But as for the spaciousness and location of the apartment, both are nonpareil. Less than a long block from the Seine, two blocks to Notre Dame, 10 minutes to the Louvre, 4 minutes to a great Metroprix, and less than 100 feet to a Metro and a bakery right underneath you - how do you improve upon this ? Even the 38 steep, winding steps up to the apartment proved to be no problem and we often went up and down 3 or more times daily, and we're in our 70's. We had no major issues during our almost 3 week stay and the staff of Glamaparis was very responsive on the few times we had a question and were also quite helpful getting us situated into the unit. Due to the steep steps, this probably is not the best place for someone with any ambulatory issues, and might be best suited to younger groups, but we loved it and got to know some of the local food vendors and restaurant and shop owners. And there was lots to do with our 2 and 5 year old granddaughters in close proximity to the unit(Luxembourg Gardens, a child's paradise, is about a 10 minute walk) and, unlike us, they loved the stairs !!!
One of the two sofas in the living area easily pulled out into a large and very comfortable bed that the kids or I used on a couple of occasions.
If space and location and fun and activity are at the top of your priority list and street noise and steep steps are not an issue, this unit deserves your consideration ! My rating would be five stars but for the street noise(remember my age !) and having to keep the windows open because of the summer heat and humidity.
I stayed for five wonderful weeks in this lovely apartment. Samia at Glamaparis was a joy to work with. She answered my every question by email quickly and completely. She met us when we arrived and helped us up the stairs. She even found my missing item and a friend was able to pick it up. We loved the street...great restaurants and people watching. We became regulars at Cafe Latin (corner to the right), Cafe Libonais (the one down the street to the right and across the street...wonderful take out, always busy), Chez Clemont ( on the square with jazz at the end of the week), and Jacobine (on the passageway down the street a few block to the right just before Rue de Buci). We were also regulars at Cafe Laurent on rue Dauphine for jazz and drinks...love that place. You are within walking distance from nearly everything,..Louvre, D'Orsay, Pompidou, St. Chapelle, Notre Dame, Cluny, street markets, the Marais, Tuileries.....on and on! Bus, metro and RER are just out the door. Only drawback was the tight spiral staircare for suitcases up and especially down. Thanks goodness each group had to do it only once. We helped each other. I do hope to return. Merci Glamaparis.

Our two week stay met or exceeded all expectations. GlamaParis provided excellent information and coordination for all aspects of this rental from occupation to departure. There were no complications involved arriving at the appointed time and place leaving more time to plan activities for and with friends from Paris. The description of the property was as described, spacious and comfortable. Account Manager Samia Alaoui must receive special thanks for her pleasant professional and attentive demeanor attending to all details necessary. I would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative.

Excellent place, with balcony. Both rooms were well kept, kitchen was full and living space large. Would recommend for any travelers visiting for a week or even longer.

What a fantastic week in Paris! It was a beautiful, enormous apartment with all the comforts of home. Perfect location -Notre Dame is just across the river, we walked to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Luxembourg Gardens and more. Just outside the apartment you'll find shops, restaurants and pubs. Turn right out the front door and just a few blocks away you'll find Boulangeries, Patisseries, Fromageries and high end specialty food shops - a culinary dream. We were worried that it would be noisy as the street is quite lively but the double windows (not double pane, actually 2 windows) make it very quiet. The St Michel Metro is literally steps away and makes it easy to get anywhere in the city.

The apartment in St Andre des Arts was a totally pleasant surprise: bright, airy, spacious, well appointed, and convenient. Paul graciously checked us in and warmly welcomed us to the neighborhood and to Paris with guides and maps. I've always loved the 6th arr and this apartment is perfectly located.
Imagine waking every morning to the smell of baking bread at the boulangerie downstairs! Being only a block from a major metro/RER station and a particularly splendid neighborhood cafe (Le Fenelon, where we ate several times). Short walks to the Louvre, Notre Dame, markets, cafes, and my favorite bouquinistes.
The flat is well appointed; although we did not cook, it is fully equipped to do so (but why cook when delightful restaurants are so near?!). Comfortable beds, plush towels, all the comforts of home, but in Paris!
I look forward to my next stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment with another couple. The apt. is very spacious, clean, and the location is excellent to seeing all the sights. Everyone was very helpful and the rental process could not have been easier. Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris.

This apartment was spacious, spotless, and all around perfect for my family's needs. The location was very convenient, and we really enjoyed the cute neighborhood. Very picturesque, and luckly, the weather was nice! We made so many memories in our Parisian "home" and would gladly go back any time. We'd definitely reccomend to others.

I stayed here with my son (11) and daughter (13) for a week in March. We LOVED it. The location was ideal: close to multiple metro stops, restaurants, shops, bakeries and many attractions. We walked to the Orsay, the Louvre and Notre Dame. The apartment was roomy and comfortable and stocked with everything that we needed. I highly recommend this apartment.

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I wanted a flat for the week between Christmas and New Years in Paris which was conveniently located for sight seeing and being a part of the city experience. This flat was absolutely perfect for all of that and more. It was a beautiful space which was spacious, quiet and yet accessible to the busy street below without the bother of noise. Food from many different restaurants are literally foot steps away from the flat including: crepes, bakery, pizza, kabobs, italian, irish and french.
GlamaParis team was friendly, approachable and fluent in English to help us get our needs met and enjoy the entire experience. I would highly recommend this particular flat and the GlamaParis team for anyone really wanting to enjoy Paris in a slightly different way than a hotel. We are already looking to return!

We cannot say enough great things about this flat and the GlamaParis team. The pictures appropriately capture the beauty of the apartment, but it is actually larger than I expected. Even by American standards of space, it was spacious and the perfect home-base for our week in Paris.
The decor is beautiful and the flat is astonishingly quiet. Although it's only a story above a bustling, busy street, you hear no noise when the windows are closed.
The neighborhood embodies the essence of Paris- so many cute cafes and local shopping. The metro and RER are mere yards away at St. Michel. We could not have asked for a more convenient location.
The GlamaParis team were efficient, effective, warm, and welcoming. We highly recommend the team and the property.
The apartment is much as it appears in the photos with plenty of living space and the second bedroom which was perfect for our two adult children.
Paul met us to check us in which was a simple process as was checkout.
The kitchen was well equipped so our morning breakfasts from the adjacent boulangerie each morning and our home cooked veal chops for dinner from the local butcher was a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the cafes.
The location in Saint Germain is great and although the square and many restaurants are bustling at night the apartment is pretty quiet as long as the windows are closed. The proximity to the Seine and Notre Dame also make it easy to access the neighborhoods across the river.
Overall we loved our stay and got a real feel for the neighborhood and the spirit which is Paris. We would definitely recommend this spot to our friends or anyone wanting an extended stay in Paris with all the comforts of home.

First of all, the service and communication with the rental agency was first class. Everything was handled promptly and efficiently. Quick and simple check-in and check-out process. The photos are an excellent reflection of the place, and the description is accurate.
The apartment was perfect for us (2 adults with 2 adult children): spacious, very well maintained, very clean (according to my wife, who is a cleaning freak!) and well-equipped. Lots of plates and cutlery, so even if the dishwasher was full, we still had plenty of plates and cutlery.
The apartment is situated in a central location so we could walk everywhere, with a good selection of shops and markets close by. Although it is situated on a busy street, there was absolutely no noise.
It was one of the great pleasures of our Paris trip to sit around the massive oak dining table, with fresh bread, some cheeses, and a bottle (or two) of wine.

WOW! What a fantastic location. One block from the river. Practically on the border of the 5th and 6th Districts. On a fantastic street full of restaurants and stores and people and whisper quiet. The owner of this apartment went to great pains to make it sound proof - including quadruple pane windows in the front bedroom. We just got home from a week here where we walked everywhere. And more than once in some cases. Eiffel Tour, Arc de Triumph, Bastille are all within walking distance while some of the best food and shopping imaginable (and anything you need) is virtually right out the door.
The apartment itself is very generously sized. All of the rooms are bright and spacious. The living and dining rooms in particular have been nicely updated. We picked this apartment specifically for its ability to accommodate our group's needs. We were one couple and two single friends. The bedrooms are nicely separated to give privacy - each with their own WC - while one bedroom can be set up with two twin beds. This worked perfectly for us and would also be great for families traveling together.
We had great service from Glamaparis too. Both Paul and Meghan were very helpful prior to our arrival and my lack of proficiency in French was not a problem. Paul met us upon our arrival - got us settled in and set up and was absolutely delightful.
We would recommend this apartment and Glamaparis highly.

A very nicely appointed, spacious apartment located in the heart of Saint Germain. A great apartment for a family with one or two children or for a couple. It is particularly convenient for getting about town as the metro and a taxi stand are steps away. It is also particularly convenient for day-to-day living as there is a nearby Carrefour as well as assorted specialty shops. Very quiet too as the windows are triple glazed.
We would certainly stay there again.

We recently stayed in this apartment on rue St. Andre des Arts. We had a wonderful time and the apartment was perfect for our needs. It had everything that we needed and the location was just right for walking to restaurants, museums and shopping! We would recommend it to anyone visiting Paris.

We stayed at the two bedroom apartment on St Andre Des Arts in July 2012 with our two children and had a wonderful time. From arrival to departure the Glam-A-Paris team was professional, friendly and easy to communicate with.
The apartment itself is very spacious for a Parisian flat. The front bedroom was prefect for our kids - we split the bed into two singles and even though the window faced the main street, because it had double windows it was perfectly quiet - the kids slept great! And keeping the windows open during the day provided great ambiance as there's always someone playing music outside in this lively neighborhood.
The living room/dining room area was quite large and comfortable. The stone floors helped to keep the temperature of the apartment down, as we were here in the summer and the weather was hot!
The kitchen had everything from silverware to pots and pans - anything you would need to prepare and eat a meal in - which we did often! Not that you need to, with so many fabulous dining options just out your door step.
The master bedroom is located just past the kitchen and up a few steps - provides great privacy if you are traveling with kids or another couple. It also has its own bathroom and plenty of closet space! This bedroom faced the courtyard and it was nice and quiet.
The apartment is located in the 6th district (St Germain) which happens to be our favorite. We hand picked this very location and were not disappointed. The area is just great with something always going on. You really couldn't beat living above a Parisian bakery -- the amazing smells coming out of that place woke us daily in the moorings. Starbucks was just down the block to complete our perfect breakfast! The location is also ideal for sightseeing - just a few steps away is Notre Dame, Ile St Louis, Louvre Museum - just to name a few. And if you need to go a bit further - a great metro stop is literally steps away.
Overall we had a great stay - a wonderful vacation. The apartment, its location, and everyone we dealt with at Glam-A-Paris made this a perfect experience for our whole family. Thanks Damien, Julien, Cecile and Enrique! Im sure we'll see you again! :)
